Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process. No fees are charged for manuscript submission or peer review.

Fast-Track Review: 0.00 (IDR)
No payment is required for Fast-Track Review. Currently, the Journal of ASEAN Research does not apply a Fast-Track Review system.

Article Processing Charges (APCs) / Article Publication Fee

Journal of ASEAN Research applies an Article Processing Charge (APC).
The APC is charged only after the manuscript has successfully passed peer review and been officially accepted for publication.

The APC is intended to support the costs of open-access publication, manuscript handling and editing, journal management, and overall publication processes.

APC Rates:

  • Authors affiliated with institutions in Indonesia: IDR 300.000

  • Authors affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia: USD 30

Waiver Policy

A waiver or partial waiver of the APC may be granted at the discretion of the Editor in cases of limited funding or other reasonable grounds clearly stated by the author.
Authors requesting a waiver must declare the request explicitly in the “Comments to the Editor” section during the submission process. Requests submitted after this stage are unlikely to be considered.

The decision regarding APC waivers does not influence the editorial or peer-review decision.
