About the Journal

Asian Journal of Digital Public Relations (AJDPR) is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access scholarly journal jointly founded by Xiamen University’s School of Journalism and Communication, China, and the LSPR Communication and Business Institute, Indonesia. Published bi-annually, AJDPR serves as the premier academic platform dedicated to the study of public relations, strategic communication, and digital governance in the Asian context and beyond.

The journal is committed to rigorous, interdisciplinary scholarship with digital public relations at its intellectual core, bridging communication theory, computational methods, critical algorithm studies, platform studies, and policy analysis. AJDPR welcomes both empirical and conceptual contributions that advance the understanding of how digital technologies — from social media algorithms and artificial intelligence to data infrastructures and platform governance — are reshaping the theory and practice of public relations across Asia and the Global South.
