Journal History

The Journal of Communication & Public Relations (JCPR) was founded in 2020 by a dedicated group of academics and professionals with a shared vision: to foster high-quality research and promote scholarly discourse in communication studies. Our mission is to bridge the gap between theory and practice in communication and public relations.

Since our inaugural issue in January 2021, which featured five groundbreaking articles, JCPR has significantly expanded its focus. We now cover a diverse range of topics, including organizational communication, media relations, and marketing communication, among others.

Our esteemed editorial board, comprised of distinguished scholars from around the world, plays a vital role in upholding the high standards of our journal. We use the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to ensure seamless, efficient, and transparent publication processes, constantly innovating with digital tools to enhance the dissemination and engagement of our research outputs.

Collaboration is at the heart of JCPR. We partner with numerous academic institutions and professional organizations, hosting conferences and workshops that advance the field of communication studies. Our impact factor and citation statistics are a testament to our growing influence and reach within the scholarly community.

JCPR is committed to rigorous peer-review standards and provides comprehensive guidelines for authors and reviewers. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive, high-quality, and ethical research environment, ensuring that our journal remains a beacon of innovative and impactful research in communication and public relations.
